Paul is an award-winning theatre producer, director and artistic leader with 3 decades experience working in the cultural sector. He is currently Co-Artistic Director of China Plate, having founded the company with Ed Collier in 2006.
In 2002 he set up The John Osborne Arvon Centre, also with Ed Collier, a residential retreat for writers, which they ran until 2006.
Prior to that Paul worked briefly in film and television on The Brian Conley Show, Robot Wars and Shakur Kapur’s 2001 remake of The Four Feathers.
He trained at The Workshop Theatre, University of Leeds and is an alumnus of The Royal National Theatre Young Directors Scheme.
Since 2007 has worked regularly for Contender Charlie as a presenter – bringing the Leadership Lessons from Shakespeare to life in the education field.
