Philip is an Actor, Director and Teacher who trained at RADA and the Kings College London. He has extensive experience running workshops with non-actors, businesses and corporate groups using Shakespeare to connect to their own experiences.
With an extensive career in Theatre, TV and Radio throughout the UK, most recently for ‘Richard III’ within the West End. He is now appearing in ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore’ at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse at Shakespeare’s The Globe.
As well as directing and teaching at several leading Drama schools, he works extensively with Globe Education running workshops for students, teachers and actors with a focus on how to access Shakespeare’s plays, stories and language.
For the last three years he has also worked in Davis CA USA, contributing to the ‘Shakespeare’s Works When Shakespeare Play’s conference’ working alongside Shakespeare academics and directors from across the USA, assisting American teachers, teaching Shakespeare.
